Energy Finance Analytics named as an Approved Contractor for Michigan Saves Commercial Energy Loan Program

EFA has recently been named as an approved Energy Auditor for the Michigan Saves Commercial Energy Loan Program.  The program is currently in a pilot phase and limiting projects to the City of Detroit.

Businesses can access low interest loans for energy efficiency improvements that reduce energy costs. Loans up to $150,000 with interest rates from 1.99% - 5% are available with 20% demonstrated energy savings on qualified energy efficiency projects.

Additionally, Michigan Saves will contribute up to $1,500 for an energy audit for pre-qualified facilities.  

Eligible improvements include:  
  • Interior Lighting Retrofits
  • Exterior & Site Lighting Retrofits
  • Heating, Cooling, & Ventilation System Improvements
  • Hot Water Heating Systems
  • Commercial Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment 
  • Building Envelope Improvements (Insulation, Windows, Roofing)
